Our Mission
ROW Bladensburg is high school rowing club that aims to improve athletes, regardless of their incoming talent, and promote retention and growth in scholastic rowing. ROW Bladensburg exists to support scholastic rowing programs that may lack the resources to facilitate a competitive summer rowing team. By bringing athletes from various high school programs together, ROW Bladensburg forms a community of athletes with shared experiences who can return to their high schools in the fall, having formed lasting bonds with rowers they will compete against throughout the school year.
The Developmental Camp: Any athlete who has completed at least one season with a high school rowing team is eligible to participate in ROW Bladensburg's Developmental Camp. In this eight week program, athletes will row in eights, fours, and pairs to develop their technical abilities and train for a few local summer regattas.
The Performance Camp: Athletes looking to compete at the highest level should join the ROW Bladensburg Performance Camp. Over eight weeks, athletes will train in a combination of both big boats and small boats and will travel to compete at some of the most prestigious summer regattas.
